The official start date of the contest is October 1, 2008! At this time, teachers may distribute materials to their classes, explain the purpose of the contest along with the guidelines, and address any student questions. Please note that students may compete as individuals, or in teams (maximum of 5 students to a team).
To ensure that all projects are judged accurately please remind all students they each must submit an individual registration form, with parent signature, that also notes their team name, if applicable. The registration forms must be obtained from getintoenergyflorida.com and faxed to: 850-921-1101 attention FEWC Student Branding Campaign by November 1, 2008 to express intent to participate. Each project will be judged according to the FEWC Branding Competition Judging Criteria provided. Submittal deadline is December 12, 2008.
All entries must complete the registration form from getintoenergyflorida.com by November 1, 2008. If a school does not have a website for the students to post their branding material submittals, they may mail ten copies of all branding materials along with ten copies of their completed registration form to Workforce Florida for arrival by December 12, 2008. Entries received after this date will not be eligible.
