Q: Why should students enter the Get into Energy Florida Student Branding Competition?
A: Students will learn at every step of this contest. All entries will be judged on a clearly defined rubric as well as student ability to clearly and accurately spread energy career awareness. To be successful, students will need to be familiar with energy careers, matters relevant to the state of Florida, and they will need to communicate their understanding in a coherent, organized manner.
In addition to requiring knowledge of utility career options, students will receive practical training in digital media, marketing, and research. The prizes will be an incentive, but we feel that they are secondary to this projects educational appeal.
